Dilraj Koonbeeharry: Regional Business Leader

Dilraj Koonbeeharry is a seasoned corporate leader with decades of experience in senior executive roles, including Cluster Leadership and Managing Director positions across the Indian Ocean Islands. He has consistently driven business growth, operational excellence, and strategic transformation across multi-country environments. After starting his career in the teaching field, followed by a brief passage at the Mauritius Ports Authority in 2004, Dilraj joined the AP Moller Maersk Group (2005 - 2023) where he held various cluster leadership positions in Sales, Commercial Planning, Trade & Marketing, Liner Operations, Large-scale Project Implementation and Country Management - overseeing Mauritius, Madagascar, Seychelles and Comoros.  After completion of his expatriation term in Madagascar, Dilraj returned back to Mauritius in 2022 and founded KD World Consulting in 2023.

His professional journey reflects a unique versatility, spanning academia, tourism and hospitality, ports and terminal operations, international trade, shipping and logistics, and business consultancy. This multidisciplinary expertise enables him to deliver integrated, practical solutions aligned with real-world industry challenges. Dilraj has developed deep expertise in managing complex operations, multi-cultural work environments, leading regional portfolios, crisis management, navigating diverse regulatory and commercial landscapes. His strong understanding of emerging markets positions him as a trusted advisor for businesses seeking sustainable growth and competitive advantage.

He has pursued advanced academics and executive trainings from the University of Mauritius [BSc. (Hons) Physics with Electrical Engineering], Stellenbosch University (Africa Leadership Development Programme), University of South Wales (Master of Business Administration) and IMD Business School (leadership programme), complemented by professional certifications such as Process Excellence (PMI Green Belt certification), Compliance & Governance (Institute of Directors), among others—demonstrating his commitment to continuous learning, improvement and performance optimisation. 

 As Managing Director of KD World Consulting Ltd., Dilraj leverages his extensive experience to develop industry-focused solutions that drive sustainable transformations, enhance efficiency, and support growth across multiple economic sectors and geographies. 


Adrien C. Duval: Barrister 

Adrien Duval is a Barrister. He holds an LLB Law Degree from the University of Kent (UK), has been trained for the Bar Professional Training Course at the College of Law (London) and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2013 and to the Mauritian Bar in 2014.  He is also a member of Gray’s Inn (UK).

Since being called to the Bar, Adrien has built up a wide practice spanning civil, corporate and international law. He advises private individuals, domestic and foreign companies, Global Business Companies, Investment Funds and civil bodies and associations.  In the course of his practice, he regularly advises on deal structuring, mergers and acquisitions; setting up and restructuring of companies, insolvency and winding up proceedings; establishment of Mauritius domiciled funds and trusts; licenses and permits applications and regulated activities framework; investor, company and labour migration; industrial relations and employment related matters.

 Adrien also has a thriving litigation practice in matters of public and administrative law, civil, commercial and employment law, redundancy, taxation and land use, appearing as counsel on behalf of companies and individual clients in matters relating to contractual and tortious claims, insolvency proceedings, employment related disputes, review of decisions of public bodies/authorities and seeking of injunctive reliefs before the Judiciary of Mauritius.

 Adrien regularly appears as litigator before all Courts in Mauritius in both civil and criminal jurisdictions as well as before specialised Tribunals.  

 

Djibrane I. M. Mansoor: Barrister

Djibrane Mansoor is a Barrister. He holds an LLB from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne (UK), an LLM in International Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation from the University of Warwick (UK), a Diploma in Civil Law (Comparative Study of French & Mauritian Civil Law) from the Université de La Réunion (France), he is eligible for Membership of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2013 and the Bar of Mauritius in 2014.  

 He was a litigator with NKM Chambers before becoming the Managing Partner of Clairwood Chambers - Joint Law Venture, a transnational partnership between Mansoor Chambers and Clairwood Chambers, a Zimbabwean based law firm with an international practice and a leading commercial law firm in Southern Africa with a Five-Year Value Unlocked of USD 8 Billion and 7 unsolicited global endorsements.

 Djibrane then joined BLC Robert & Associates, one of the leading business law firms in Mauritius as a member of its Fund Team and then AML/CFT Team, before joining the Mauritius office of Dentons, the leading Global Law Firm, as Barrister, Head of Compliance, Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer.

 He is a trainer approved by the Human Resource Development Council of Mauritius and the Mauritius Qualifications Authority. Djibrane has provided services in the freight, logistics, global business/offshore, financial, fintech, banking, corporate, legal, real estate, telecommunications, hotel, aviation and mining sectors with a focus on Mauritius and Southern and Eastern Africa.

 He has a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence, its general impact on society and the changes that it brings to legal and compliance practice.
